I’ve always cared about my health and personal growth, but during menopause I began noticing changes that felt unfamiliar and frustrating. My clothes no longer fit the same, my sleep was inconsistent, my energy dipped throughout the day, and overall I just didn’t feel like myself. Even though I was exercising regularly, it became clear that working out alone wasn’t enough to support what my body was going through. Through open conversations with other women at the gym, I realized many of us were experiencing similar challenges and searching for real answers. That’s when I discovered the Metabolic Balance Program and connected with Jennifer, which truly became a turning point in my journey.
For the first time, I felt supported in understanding my body, my hormones, and the changes happening at this stage of life, rather than feeling like I had to figure it all out on my own.
Since starting the program, the changes have been both noticeable and meaningful. My energy is more stable, my mood has improved, and I feel stronger and more confident in my body. The structure of the program helped keep things simple and manageable, giving me clear guidance while allowing me to track progress and celebrate small wins along the way. Learning how to fuel my body with real, balanced food completely shifted my relationship with nutrition, and I was genuinely surprised by how my cravings disappeared once I started eating in a way that truly supported me. Jennifer’s coaching played a huge role in my consistency and success. Her encouragement, accountability, and personalized approach made it easier to stay on track, both with nutrition and personal training.
More than anything, this journey has given me a new perspective on health, one that feels realistic, sustainable, and supportive of long-term well-being and quality of life.

I’m a 38-year-old mom of three, and I started training with Jenna in August 2023, about two and a half years postpartum.
Before kids, I loved running and being active, but after having my children I was dealing with diastasis recti that kept me from doing the things I enjoyed. I tried physio and several postpartum programs, but nothing really helped, and I felt frustrated, tired, and honestly disconnected from my body. I didn’t feel like myself anymore.
Through ongoing conversations during our training sessions, Jenna introduced me to the Metabolic Balance program, and after learning more about it, I decided to give it a try because I needed something that actually felt sustainable. Since starting Metabolic Balance, the changes have been huge, not just physically, but mentally too. I didn’t realize how much inflammation I was dealing with or how poorly I was fueling my body. Now I feel stronger, more energized, and more like myself again. I’ve learned how to eat in a way that supports my body without restriction, and foods that used to cause reactions don’t anymore. Jenna’s support, regular check-ins, and constant adjustments kept me accountable and moving forward. She’s built an incredibly supportive community where we celebrate wins together, and that made a big difference for me.
Within seven months, my injury had healed, I was back to running with no limitations, hit a PB in my 10K, lost 25 pounds, and gained strength I never thought I’d have again. I feel confident, capable, and proud of what my body can do, and I couldn’t have done it without Jenna’s guidance and support.

For years, I loved being active, but I was stuck in the same routines, going through the motions without real progress. Jenna had been encouraging me to join her group workouts for years, and I kept putting it off…until I finally took the leap with Metabolic Balance Program. From the very first sessions, I felt a shift. I went from 15.9% body fat to 7%, shedding fat while building muscle, strength, and balance I never thought I could achieve. More than the numbers, I gained energy, confidence, and a sense of capability that carried into every part of my life.
Jenna has been at the heart of that transformation. She’s not just knowledgeable and professional. She genuinely cares about your goals, keeps workouts fun, and pushes you safely beyond your mental barriers. She introduced me to exercises I would never have tried on my own, taught me proper technique, and helped me stay consistent even on busy or stressful days.
The biggest lesson I’ve learned? Start slow, embrace change, and never underestimate the power of showing up for yourself. GenHealth, guided by Jenna, didn’t just change my body; it changed how I feel, think, and live every single day.

Before starting Metabolic Balance Program, I was the kind of person who lived at the gym and thought I was eating well, but no matter how strong I became, I never felt truly good in my body. I constantly felt puffy, low on energy, and disconnected from the results I was working so hard for.
After becoming pregnant with twins, everything felt even harder. My weight fluctuated, my motivation dropped, and I felt frustrated and uncomfortable in my own skin. Starting Metabolic Balance was a turning point. I finally understood what my body needed, and what was working against it.
Removing foods that caused inflammation and following a structure designed specifically for me brought my energy back, eliminated the bloat, and helped me feel like myself again. With Jennifer’s guidance and accountability, I lost 20 pounds, and more importantly, kept it off.
Jennifer didn’t just help me with nutrition; she completely changed how I move and train. Even though I thought I knew my way around a gym, she rebuilt my foundation from the ground up, my form, my confidence, and my strength. Because of her coaching, I’m in the best shape of my life, doing things I never imagined possible, like running a half marathon and mastering handstands. I feel stronger, clearer, and more capable than ever.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: progress comes from consistency, not perfection. Ask for help, surround yourself with people who lift you up, and don’t give up when things feel slow. Understanding your body and having the right support truly changes everything.

After turning 50 and noticing some declining health, I knew it was time to take action, so I joined a gym. Progress was slow, and my motivation started to wane until I met Jenna. What began as tossing a few sarcastic remarks her way to make workouts more fun quickly turned into one of the most positive influences in my life. Jenna suggested trying Metabolic Balance, and focusing on better nutritional habits, combined with a more diverse fitness routine.
The results were almost immediate. Within the first week, pounds started to melt away, and inflammation in my body decreased significantly. After 12 weeks, I had lost nearly 30 pounds! My health improved, my flexibility increased, and, for the first time in my life, I could see noticeable changes in the mirror. My confidence soared, and my commitment to my goals was fully restored.
The team, Jennifer Neil, and Lynne Kozack, who trained me personally, have become cherished friends and some of my biggest supporters, both in life and at the gym (and for all the ridiculous T-shirts I wear to make people laugh!).
Mornings in the gym with my friends have become the best way to start my day. I wholeheartedly recommend GenHealth to anyone ready to take their health and fitness to the next level.

Training with Jenna has truly been a game-changer for me. As a mom, former gymnast, and track athlete, she brings a rare combination of experience, energy, and genuine care to every session. She’s incredibly inspiring for women over 40, showing that strength, agility, and confidence don’t disappear with age. They evolve and grow stronger.
I love that no two workouts are ever the same. Jenna keeps things fresh and challenging while always focusing on what really matters: strength, agility, balance, core stability, and cardio. She listens closely to my body, knows when to push me, and when to adjust, which has kept me motivated, confident, and injury-free.
I leave every session feeling stronger, more capable, and proud of what my body can do. I’m deeply grateful for her guidance, encouragement, and the positive energy she brings to my fitness journey.

For over ten years Jennifer has been my health and wellness consultant of choice. Her breadth and depth of experience as an athlete herself and her continuous professional training enables her to coach clients of all abilities to achieve success and achieve their goals.
For myself, her personal training and the Metabolic Balance will be a critical component in realizing my dream of successfully finishing my twelfth Ironman Triathlon on the occasion of my eightieth birthday.

Working with Jenna this past year has been eye-opening. I’ve stayed within a few pounds of my goal weight for years now, but what really matters is how solid and healthy my body feels. When I focus, my body just responds because the habits Jenna helped me build actually stick. I know how to eat well, bounce back quickly, and get back on track without stressing.
The best part is the freedom. I can enjoy my favourite foods, take a day off, and not feel guilty. I came in wanting to lose a little weight and tone up, but I got so much more, a healthier relationship with food and exercise, tools that last, and habits I can actually maintain.
And her community is amazing. Everyone supports each other, celebrates wins, and makes it fun. Jenna isn’t just a trainer; she’s a coach who teaches you how to make changes that last. I’m so grateful for everything I’ve learned.
Simran Singh
My name is Simran, I’m 24, and I started going to the gym in January 2025 to build some muscle. I’ve always been really skinny, and it’s something that has always made me feel insecure. Strength training was helping, but I felt like something was missing.
I wanted to get stronger and more flexible. That’s when I started training with Jenna, with a very specific goal: to get my splits. Seven months later, I’m loving the journey. My lower back pain from sitting at a desk all day is gone, and I’ve gotten stronger, more balanced, and more flexible than I ever imagined. The workouts are never boring. They challenge my body in ways machines never could, and I actually enjoy every session.
Jenna has been such a big part of my progress. She’s inspiring in so many ways, as a mom, trainer, gymnast, massage therapist, and clinical nutritionist, she somehow does it all and still makes every session feel personal. Even though my goal was just splits, we’ve been working on handstands, backbends, and even one-legged bridges, which I never thought I could do.
My advice for anyone starting their fitness journey or feeling stuck is to get help if you need it, focus on the basics, and don’t skip mobility work. It makes a huge difference in the long run. Training with the right coach and being consistent can completely change how you feel in your body and your life.
